Hiking & Snowshoeing

In 2013 we purchased an additional 40 acres to add to our woods giving us 80 acres to carve out some trails for guests to enjoy. We spent a year planning and creating a trail that now winds through our 80 acres and is almost a mile long The trail goes through beautiful conifer forests, winds past a small bog and gives vistas at the end to Kitty Springs. Kitty Spring is a natural spring that is the source for the Kitty Creek and eventually flows into the Tomahawk River. Bring along your binoculars to enjoy the birds you see and snow shoes in the winter. We also have snow shoes to rent at the office if anyone needs them. Everyone who has tried out the new trail has loved a place to stretch their legs and get out into the woods.
