Updated three bedroom cabin that retains it's classic charm.
Kaubashine, named after our lake, was one of the first cabins built in 1918. The cabin has been updated but still retains its old cabin charm with wicker furniture from the 20's and 30's and other vintage antiques. Kaubashine features the original fieldstone fireplace in the living room along with modern leather furniture. The kitchen, living room and dinning room are an open concept that makes Kaubashine a favorite for groups.
The porch is original to the cabin and is another charming place to gather. The porch is furnished with wicker and oak antiques and one of our famous double swinging beds.
Each of the 3 bedrooms has a queen-sized bed and a unique antique dresser from the early 1900's. The biggest bedroom also has a twin. The kitchen is the biggest in the resort with ample counter space and a four-stool island.
Outside Kaubashine is a large in-ground fire pit, a cedar swing, Adirondack chairs and a Weber grill. The fire pit is located on the edge of the playground area and is a favorite for families that like to enjoy the outdoors while the kids enjoy the playground.
Kaubashine shares a dock area with Shamrock. A stairwell goes down in front of the 2 cabins to a dock area with 2 slips for either of the cabins to use. It is also a good area for dogs to swim when the main beach area is busy. A quick walk down the wood path takes you to the main beach.
